Out of Hours
On weekdays between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.00am, and all day and night at weekends and on bank holidays, services are commissioned by Fareham & Gosport Clinical Commissioning Group. If you wish to see an emergency doctor, phone the new NHS service on  111

Test Results
If any tests are taken, it is your responsibility to telephone the surgery for the results. Please only telephone between 1.00pm and 3.00pm. If you wish to discuss the results, please request a routine telephone conversation with your GP or Nurse.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone The Whiteley Surgery on 01489 881982.

Repeat Prescriptions

THIS FACILITY HAS NOW BEEN UPDATED AND YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A FORM TO RE-REGISTER FOR ONLINE SERVICES THIS FORM IS AVAILABLE IN THE SURGERY OR CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW. THIS MUST BE COMPLETED TO ENABLE ACCESS TO ORDERING AND ONLINE APPOINTMENTS.

To register for Register for Online Services - you will receive an email from the Surgery when your Registration Token is ready for collection.  Please bring photo ID when you come and collect this, without ID you will not be give your registration form. Please note this can take up to a week at present.

green pillsIf you are on regular medication you will have received a computerised prescription with a tear-off strip to the right, which is torn off before you hand your prescription to the chemist. Keep the tear-off strip and use it for your next prescription request, tick the items you need for resupply and either post it or place in the Repeat Prescription Box by the entrance or on the front reception desk.

Alternatively you can now order your repeat medication via the link on the home page of this website.

All repeat prescription requests must be made in writing. We regret we cannot accept telephoned or faxed requests for repeat prescriptions.

You may prefer to use a collection service or nominate a pharmacy in the local area, please speak to one of the reception team for information. Please note if you wish to use this service, please visit your preferred pharmacy as you will be required to fill in some forms before this can happen.

Routine prescriptions TAKE TWO FULL WORKING DAYS TO PROCESS . Medication NOT on a repeat slip or new medication from a hospital consultant or clinic will need to be authorised by your GP and will take UP TO FIVE WORKING DAYS. If you have any questions/queries about your prescription please ask to speak to one of our very experience Prescription Clerks who will be happy to help.

Prescription requests submitted after 4.30pm will be classed as received on the next working day.
